Local Professional Lends IT and Business Expertise and Experience to Panel Discussion at MSP Conference

Rob Schenk, a managing partner with leading San Francisco IT firm, Intivix, was in San Jose in September to serve as an expert panelist for the annual Channelnomics Managed Service Provider Conference. As a managed IT service veteran, Schenk was invited to lend his expertise and experience to enrich the panel discussions.

The annual conference serves as an educational event to help MSP’s navigate through the rapidly changing managed service space. The conference aims to bring together leading industry players and thinkers to help attendees best understand the changes that are driving increased competition in an already crowded marketplace. By examining these changes, MSP’s can determine what specific efforts or service features that will help meaningfully identify and define them in the marketplace. At this year’s conference Schenk shared knowledge about why so many businesses rely on MSPs, the best ways to differentiate and build partnerships and important trends and challenges to be aware of industry wide.

Schenk and the entire Intivix team are committed to continual development through meaningful and unique engagement with the market. Participating as a panelist in this Channelnomics conference was a valued engagement that aligns perfectly with the Intivix mission to enrich the greater business community. Schenk’s contributions at the event specifically referenced the importance of maintaining a ‘boots-on-the-ground’ approach to providing managed service and credits this approach to the development of meaningful client partnerships. He also offered some keen expertise on staying plugged in to the latest trends and changes that are changing technology for the business world.

Schenk enjoyed coming together with like-minded industry professionals to network and collaboratively share expertise and experience. “I never miss opportunities like this because the educational and networking value is great.” Schenk said. “Any expertise that I can offer other MSP’s on behalf of Intivix is really what being in this industry is all about: sharing knowledge and developing together. It was an honor to serve as a Channelnomics panelist and we hope to participate in educational industry events for years to come.”
